Wayne County sheriff's deputies responded at about 4:30 p.m. to a report of people struck by a train at the Doctortown train trestle.

Deputies arrived to find several people from Open Road films and Meddin Studios in Savannah on the train tracks as part of the filming of "Midnight Rider", a movie about Gregg Allman.

The investigation continues into the incident. CSX Railroad personnel, Rayonier Miller personnel, and film crew personnel are cooperating with the investigation, according to the sheriff's office.
