LEXINGTON, SC (WIS) -

The Lexington County Coroner's autopsy revealed the Dutch Fork High School student who was killed in an argument following a basketball game was stabbed in the chest.

The coroner's office autopsy indicated 17-year-old Da'Von Capers died from a stab wound due to a perforation of the heart and liver.

Capers was stabbed outside the Cook-Out on Main Street in downtown Lexington after Dutch Fork's win over Lexington High School in basketball Monday night.

Police have charged 18-year-old Kierin Marcellus Dennis with Capers' murder.

Investigators believe an altercation between two groups a few weeks ago led to another incident after Monday night's game.

Capers will be remembered Saturday in downtown Columbia at First Nazareth Baptist Church on Gervais Street. The funeral will be at 1 p.m.
