Police investigating Valentine's night armed robbery at Bonefish Grill

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

The Columbia Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place Valentine's night at the Bonefish Grill near Harbison Boulevard.

Police said the robbery occurred shortly after midnight at the restaurant located at 1260 Bower Parkway.

A victim tells police the suspect approached her outside at the back of the restaurant. He then allegedly pointed a gun at her and demanded that they go inside to get money.

The victim entered the store with the suspect and quickly closed the door, but the suspect allegedly broke the glass and leaned over the middle part of the door, and continued to point a gun at her.

The robber made off with an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing all black clothing with a zip up hoodie and face mask.
