The Montgomery Police Department and the Montgomery Public School System are investigating a break-in at an area school.

Authorities say two people forced their way into Robert E. Lee High School on Ann Street early Monday morning. The subjects appeared to have "intimate knowledge of the layout of the school," according to Crime Stoppers.

Police say the pair stole at least five laptop computers valued at approximately $5,000. Police say they also damaged at least six interior doors while trying to gain access to classrooms.

Officials have released surveillance video from the school. In the video, the subjects can be seen taunting the camera. One subject was wearing a black bandanna and a black toboggan. The other wore a red bandanna and red toboggan.

Both subjects are wanted for burglary and theft.
