COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Governor Nikki Haley will tour storm damage in Aiken and Colleton Counties Friday, the governor's office announced.

"I will be on the ground in both Aiken and Colleton Counties tomorrow to make sure we are doing all we can," Haley said on her Facebook page.

Haley is scheduled to arrive in Aiken around 10:30 a.m. where she will meet with city and county leaders and emergency responders.

In the afternoon, Haley will make a trip to Walterboro to see how power restorations are going and to get updates from county administrators and utility companies.

"Mother Nature is giving us a run for our money," Haley said. "Thank you so much for neighbors taking care of neighbors, public servants stepping up in heroic ways, great team work across government, and utility linemen reminding us how blessed we are! If that doesn't lift your spirits... remember, it will be in the 70s next week!"

Nearly 350,000 customers were without power at the height of outages as a brutal winter storm hammered much of the state.

As of 10 p.m. that number was down to 259,000, Haley said.

Duke Energy said residents continue to see their power restored and provided the following restoration times:

Clarendon County – Sunday, 11:45 p.m.

Dillon County – Sunday, 11:45 p.m.

Florence County – Sunday, 11:45 p.m.

Lancaster County – Friday, 9 p.m.

Marion County – Sunday, 11:45 p.m.

Sumter County – Sunday, 11:45 p.m.

Union County – Friday, 3 p.m.

Williamsburg County – Sunday, 11:45 p.m.
