Woman arrested in armed robbery of sandwich shop

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Columbia Police have arrested a woman accused of holding up a sandwich shop at gunpoint.

Diane Leslie Reese is charged with armed robbery, kidnapping and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. She was arrested Thursday, nearly one month after the robbery at the Jersey Mike's in the 4700 block of Devine Street.

After the robbery, investigators released surveillance video of the incident in an attempt to identify the woman.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

Reese was taken to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
