GASTON, SC (WIS) -

A Gaston woman has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine after Lexington County Sheriff James Metts says a lab was found in a parked truck.

30-year-old Stefanie Renee Head was charged with manufacturing meth after her arrest Thursday. She is awaiting a bond hearing at the Lexington County Detention Center.

Just before 2 p.m. Thursday, Metts says a deputy was called to investigate a suspicious truck on West Ballpark Road in Gaston.  When the deputy pulled up, Head was sitting in the passenger seat of the truck. Upon searching the truck, Metts said the deputy found items that are used to manufacture meth.

Officers from the Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team were called to investigate. Metts said they found a plastic, two-liter bottle that was being used to make meth.
