Female suspect's voice recorded during sub shop robbery, do you recognize her?

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The Columbia Police Department is hoping the release of surveillance video from a January 10 robbery will aid in the arrest of the woman who held up a Devine Street sub shop.

Police say the woman entered Jersey Mike's Subs at 4717 Devine Street just before 9:00 p.m.

The robber, who was dressed in mostly black and wearing a black ski mask with yellow gloves, orders one of the employees to open the register or she says she'll shoot.

The woman's voice can very clearly be heard on surveillance video recorded inside the restaurant. Investigators are hoping someone will recognize her voice and turn her in.

As that employee approaches the cash register, another is forced to the floor at gunpoint.

The robber hurriedly demands all of the money in the register and on the counter be placed in a bag she is carrying.

She spends about 30 seconds in the store before going back out one of the main doors.

The workers were not injured.

The suspect is approximately 5' 4", with a medium to stocky build.

If you know anything about this incident, you are urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. You could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
