The Bloomsbury Inn in Camden is a "2014 Travelers Choice" winner based on millions of reviews from

"This TripAdvisor award is very gratifying and recognizes the personal feedback that we receive from our guests everyday," said owner Katherine Brown. "We are proud to represent Camden, Kershaw County and South Carolina with this 12th annual global awards honor."

The Bloomsbury Inn was ranked No. 18 out of over 17,000 bed and breakfasts in the nation.

"We're excited to recognize the world's best properties, based on the opinions of those who know them best, the millions of travelers around the globe who come to TripAdvisor to share their experiences," said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer for TripAdvisor.

The inn, which was originally built in 1849, offers a one-of-a-kind experience.

"Our goal's to ensure that each guest has a wonderful experience in a very relaxing environment," Brown said. "Today's stresses lead us to believe that those we welcome into our home deserve the very best. Each guest is special and we make sure they feel it. This experience always includes a warm welcome, loads of local recommendations of what to see and do, a peaceful night's rest, a gourmet breakfast and a little walk through history in a circa 1850 Antebellum house, our home."
