Charleston, SC (WCSC) - Because TLC's "Myrtle Manor" and its down-home country values weren't enough, the folks over at Bravo are giving us a peek at how South Carolina's upper echelon lives in the new reality show "Southern Charm".
The show, which takes place in Charleston, features former state treasurer Thomas Ravenel, Craig Conover, Cameran Eubanks, Jenna King, Thomas Ravenel, Shepard "Shep" Rose, and Whitney Sudler-Smith.
Of course, if you remember the name Ravenel, you'll likely remember his arrest and conviction on cocaine charges in 2007 and 2008. He eventually resigned from his position as treasurer and was sentenced to 10 months in jail.
Bravo released a trailer for the March 3 premiere, previewing what appears to be a largely "Housewives" style of program set in the Holy City, which they call the "playground for men who never want to grow up."
Expect plenty of seersucker suits, mint juleps, and yes, all the accents you can stand in the Bravo production.
