COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Power at several Richland One schools has been restored and classes are continuing as scheduled, according to a news release from the district.

Brennen Elementary, Watkins-Nance Elementary, Satchel Ford Elementary, Rosewood Elementary, A.C. Moore Elementary, St. Andrews Middle and Lower Richland High experienced full or partial power outages Tuesday morning.

Power has been restored at all seven sites.

Parents were notified of the electricity issues and given the option to pick their children up.

Richland One afterschool programs scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday have been canceled. The cancellations include afterschool comprehensive remediation programs, athletics tutorial programs and child care programs.

Parents are asked to make other arrangements for their children accordingly. Please note that the cancellations do not include afterschool athletics activities, which include games and practices.

Saluda County Schools are still without power and began sending students home at 11:30.
