FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd almost went to Ohio State. His college career will end with him facing the Buckeyes instead in the Orange Bowl.

Boyd is so revered for what he's done in Tiger orange that those around the 12th-ranked program call him the face of the university, and it's hard to argue with that logic. Boyd has thrown for 11,526 yards and 102 touchdowns in his 46 college games, with Friday's matchup against No. 7 Ohio State set to be a somewhat emotional finale.

He calls it "surreal" that his last game will be against Ohio State. And the Buckeyes remember recruiting Boyd, so they know the level of talent they'll be going against.
