HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – "Fierce" Fallon Emery has begun cancer treatments at MUSC in Charleston. According to the Fierce Fallon Facebook page, many people in the community have wanted to send her things to keep her spirits high.

The page says she can have water bottles with a straw, organic sugar free lollipops, halls defense lozenges (pomegranate berry), and anything else that you think may put a smile on her face or make her nausea better.

She also has an Xbox in her room at the Ronald McDonald House, but no games so those are welcome, too.

Fallon Emery began having seizures in October 2013, and on December 12, the doctors gave some unfortunate news. "I received the worst news from a doctor that a mother could ever hear," said Fallon's mother. "My daughter has not only one, but two tumors."

She was diagnosed with an incurable brain cancer. Doctors say the disease can be slowed down with chemotherapy and radiation, giving her a year to 18 months to live, however, without treatment, she will be lost within months.

"There is no cure. Just a life expectancy. The maximum life expectancy…is 14.6 months," said Melanie Emery.

"So far, she has received outpouring love and support from her friends, family, classmates and neighbors," Fallon's Facebook page states. The page has received almost 4,000 "Likes" in two weeks. The page is titled "Fierce Fallon," because "she is a fighter, and she needs all of our help for this one," said her mother.

The Emery family needs help with Fallon's medical bills, care-related travel expenses, and other living expenses, the family stated. The $20,000 goal will help Fallon's family get the best care possible.

They hope to raise another $3000 from shirt sales, you can buy one at Donny's Saloon, located at 1213 3rd Ave. S, Myrtle Beach.
