Chase Bank reacts to Target security breach

(FOX19) -

After a major security breach at Target, one bank is limiting how much their customers can spend there.

Chase Bank announced yesterday that they will be issuing a daily spending limit of $300.00 for Target purchases made with a debit card.

According to Chase Bank, the limit effects roughly 2 million customers.

Target is warning its shoppers to check their debit and credit card statements after hackers tapped into its payment system.

It was breached for three weeks after Thanksgiving, and one woman had her entire bank account wiped out.
