ORANGEBURG, SC (WIS) -

Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Orangeburg, SLED spokesman Thom Berry tells WIS.

Stanley Crosby, 65, was arrested Saturday morning and charged with seven counts of attempted murder after several shots were fired at an assisted living facility and at police in the 1400 block of Glover Street, authorities said.

Jail records list Crosby as a resident at the assisted living facility. Calls for comment from the facility have not been returned.

Berry said there were no injuries reported.

Residents at the facility were evacuated as authorities tried to take Crosby into custody.

Authorities said at one point, Crosby got into a parked pickup truck and continued to shoot at police.

Photos from the scene show at least 20 evidence markers and a truck riddled with bullet holes.

Crosby was not granted a bond and is currently being held at the Orangeburg-Calhoun Regional Detention Center.
