SPRINGDALE, SC (WIS) - Springdale Police say officers found stolen guns, ammunition and drugs when they responded to a report of domestic violence Sunday.

Police were called to a home on Shampy Street Sunday.  They arrested 52-year-old Bryan Argoe for criminal domestic violence, unlawful possession of controlled narcotics and weapons violations. He was taken to the Lexington County Detention Center.

Argoe is accused of assaulting his live-in girlfriend.  Officers say when they arrived at the home, they saw ammunition and determined Argoe was not authorized to have ammunition or guns because of a previous conviction. Officers later determined two of the guns were reported stolen.

Officers say they found eight guns and more than 700 rounds of ammunition.  Officers also say they founded prescription drugs for which Argoe did not have a valid prescription.
