Authorities in Florida say they've tracked down a missing Orangeburg teen and a man they believe is responsible for the deaths of his mother and brother.

Detectives with the Lee County, Florida Sheriff's Office say 24-year-old Steven Tompkins and 19-year-old Joycelin Luck were captured in Platte County, Wyoming on Thursday.

According to WBBH-TV in Fort Myers, FL, Tompkins bought plane tickets for the two to fly to Wyoming. Acting on leads, deputies tracked the duo there and state troopers in Wyoming apprehended the two in a "fuel starved vehicle."

According to officials with the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office, Tompkins was seen on surveillance tape at the North Road Walmart on Tuesday along with Luck, an Orangeburg woman who was reported missing Tuesday night.

Earlier that day, Luck's mother Linda reported the 19-year-old had stolen $1,000 cash from their home. Then, on Wednesday Luck said she still had not heard from her daughter.

Tompkins is accused of killing his mother, 55-year-old Shelley Tompkins, and his brother, 22-year-old Daniel Tompkins, at a home in Lehigh Acres, FL.

Tompkins is being held for extradition on two counts of second degree murder while Joycelin Luck faces two counts of accessory after the fact.
