(WABC/CNN) - Remember the waitress in New Jersey who said a customer didn't tip her because she was gay? Well, she doesn't have a job anymore.

The restaurant, Gallop Asian Bistro, said it made a "joint decision" with Dayna Morales that she would "no longer continue her employment."

The story went viral after the waitress posted a photo of a receipt that read "I'm sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle."

A television report later showed the same receipt with an $18 tip, and a credit card statement with the total to back it up.

The Bistro did an internal investigation to find out whether Morales lied, but the results were inconclusive.

As for all the money that poured in from supporters who believed the waitress was discriminated again, the restaurant plans to donate the cash to charity.
