NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A man is facing drug charges for allegedly selling drugs out of a Nashville-area daycare.

Bobby Gutierrez, 32, is facing charges connected to the Tiny Treasures Daycare in Antioch.

Police say Bobby Gutierrez was selling cocaine out of the home he and his wife were using to run the daycare on Countryside Drive.

In an earlier search of the daycare and a second house allegedly connected to the crimes, police found an assault rifle and marijuana.

Bobby Gutierrez has a lengthy criminal history, including drug convictions from 2008 and 2011.

His wife Dana Gutierrez has also been charged. According to the police report, she tested positive for THC while seven children were in her care.

Most neighbors said they didn't even know about the business, and under Tennessee law, they shouldn't have been in operation anyway.

Convicted felons can't be licensed or employed at child care facilities.

"It's definitely good to know they got them, but it's definitely shocking, especially this neighborhood," said neighbor Yancy Amornkul.
