COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

The Columbia Police Department announced they have an outstanding arrest warrant for a man wanted for Saturday's shooting at the Colony Apartments.

Jamere Haile, 25, is accused of shooting a man in the back during an altercation in the 3500 block of Bailey Street around 5 p.m., police said.

Once arrested, Haile is expected to be charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and unlawful carrying of a firearm, police said.

His last known address was at a home on Belvedere Drive and should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Anyone with information on Haile's whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. Tipsters can earn a cash reward.
