COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Cheerleaders at Ridge View High School participated in the "Pack, Drive, and Drop Community Service Project" sponsored by the Cheer Boosters and the Columbia Skin Clinic.

To support Sistercare, a program for battered women and their children, the girls donated over 400 skin and hair items to be packaged for delivery to the Sistercare home office in Cayce.

Several of the organization's office staff greeted and thanked the cheerleaders and booster club officers.

"This show of support for our organization is greatly appreciated," said officer manager Lindsey Willard. "We are thankful that Ridge View took the time to think of us."
