Duo arrested, another sought in back-to-back Sunday armed robberies

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

The Georgetown Police Department has arrested two men and are looking for another in connection to two armed robberies that happened Sunday night.

Investigators have charged 19-year-old Shakeem Isiah Geathers and 23-year-old Josh Lamar Green with armed robbery. Authorities are still looking for Nigal Omar Vanderhorst of McClellanville.

Authorities say the armed robberies happened Sunday night at The Scotchman on 320 North Hazard Street and the Dollar General located at 1936 South Fraser Street. Police say the Scotchman robbery happened at 9:45 pm and the Dollar General at 9:54 pm.

According to investigators, the stores were robbed by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun.

Police are continuing their search for Vanderhorst who they consider armed and dangerous.
