ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Shanea Armbrister and Cedricka Sweeting left their families behind in Nassau, Bahamas at the age of 14 and are now teammates for the Lady Cavaliers. Coach Lea Henry will be counting on them this season.

"They are both offensively oriented and they just know how to play the game," Henry said. "They walked in the door with chemistry because they grew up playing together and I think you will see that as the season goes along."

Sweeting is a 5-5 sophomore who transferred from Auburn while Armbrister is a freshman who was recruited by UGA. Both are still adjusting to the game in the United States.

"Back home you just play however you feel like playing" Armbrister said.

"On the island, you playing just to play," Sweeting said. "Coming to America, your playing for something more, like for an education."

The Lady Cavs start their season on Nov. 1 hosting West Georgia Tech.
