Panthers hold tryouts in Albany

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

With as many as 20 openings for the upcoming season, the Albany Panthers held open tryouts in Albany, Georgia today.

Head Coach Lucious Davis conducted drills today at Albany High School as the team looks to add some local talent to the team.

"I believe there are a lot of guys here that can play," Davis said. "They just need the opportunity, so you know this is our way of opening our doors up to the community and surrounding counties."

Next week the team will host tryouts in Atlanta
