ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Over 25 junior college teams took part in the Darton College jamboree on Saturday. Assistant coaches from Lemon, Florida, Indiana were among many spotted in the stands to see the exhibition games.

Darton College, Albany Technical College and South Georgia Technical College fielded teams in the event.

Darton College lost their opening match to Chipola College before takings its second contest against Lawson State Community College.

The Lady Titans dropped their opener to East Mississippi State but one their following matchups against Shelton State Community College and Chattahoochee Valley Community College.

Lady Cavaliers head coach Lea Henry says the exhibition is good practice for the team.

"It's good for them, so you learn a lot from them," Henry said. "We have only been practicing a short amount of time and you are trying to put so many things in."

The season officially starts the first week of November.
