BATON ROUGE, LA - Through six games, LSU wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. leads the nation in all-purpose yards with an average of 228.2 yards per game.

Beckham Jr. is one of four players on the LSU offense who rank among the Top 10 in the nation in at least one statistical category.

Senior quarterback Zach Mettenberger leads the Southeastern Conference and ranks No. 4 in the nation in pass efficiency with a 190.1 rating. In six games, Mettenberger has connected on 107-of-157 passes for 1,738 yards, 15 touchdowns and only two interceptions. Mettenberger is currently on pace to set the school record for both passing yards and TDs in a season.

Mettenberger, who was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, ranks seventh nationally in passing yards (1,738) and he enters the Florida game coming off back-to-back 300-yard passing outings against Georgia and Mississippi State.

In addition to his top ranking in all-purpose yards, Beckham Jr. is No. 5 in the nation in receiving yards with 686 and he's No. 8 in receiving touchdowns with six. Fellow receiver Jarvis Landry is No. 4 in receiving TDs with four and he's No. 9 in receiving yards with 616.

Running back Jeremy Hill has scored nine rushing touchdowns, which ranks No. 2 in the nation, while his 118.8 rushing yards per game is second in the SEC and No. 11 in the nation.

As a unit, LSU's offense leads the SEC and ranks No. 4 in pass efficiency. LSU is also No. 3 in the SEC and No. 9 in the nation in scoring with 45.5 points per game.

Perhaps the most impressive offense stat for the Tigers is the third-down efficiency as LSU has converted on an SEC-best 42-of-72 third-down opportunities. LSU's 58.3 third-down percentage ranks No. 3 in the nation.

LSU returns to action on Saturday, hosting 17th-ranked Florida in Tiger Stadium at 2:30 p.m. in a game televised on CBS. Florida is 4-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play as the Gators bring the SEC's top rated defense into the contest. Through five games, Florida is allowing only 12.2 points and 217.0 total yards per game.
