RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

Two men were arrested on drug charges Wednesday thanks to a tip from the community, authorities said.

Delvin Davis, 30 and Jarvis Darby, 32, were taken into custody by the Richland County Sheriff's Department Drug Suppression Team after receiving a tip about illegal drug activity at the Orleans Plaza Apartments in the 1700 block of South Beltline Blvd.

After obtaining a search warrant to the residence, the drug suppression team found 130 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of cocaine, pills, 10 grams of marijuana, and a stolen handgun, Sheriff Leon Lott said.

Davis is facing several charges including with trafficking crack cocaine, trafficking cocaine and unlawful possession of a schedule III narcotic.

Darby is facing possession of a stolen weapon and possession of marijuana charges.

"[We] applaud citizens who inform law enforcement about illegal activity in our neighborhoods," Lott said.  "It is about building a better quality of life for all, it's about his vision of Unity in the Community! Having the community as our eyes and ears continues to prove valuable in making our County truly a better place to live."

Davis and Darby were transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. Bond had not been set.
