(WMC-TV) - Security at a north Mississippi high school football game was extra tight from the heels of a fatal shooting after the first game of the season.

North Panola High School student Roderick Bobo, 15, was shot and killed on campus in late August after a gang-related altercation, according to investigators.

Three people have been charged in Bobo's death.

Friday night marks the first home game since the shooting.

Wands were used to screen fans for weapons before the game. Authorities believe multiple guns were brought into the previous game before being fired in the parking lot.

Law enforcement doubled in number for Friday's game along with added parking lot patrols and spotlights to keep people out of trouble in the dark.

No one was allowed back in the stadium after leaving, and authorities kept a close eye on people loitering.
