Bond hearing to be held for 13-year-old charged in fatal house fire

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A bond hearing is schedule for a 13-year-old girl being charged in a house fire that caused the death of two of her family members. 

The teen is charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and a one count of first-degree arson in connection with house fire that occurred July 14th. The blaze at the home on East DeRenne Drive in Savannah engulfed the back of the house.

Savannah firefighters rescued a 6-year-old and a 13-year-old from a bedroom inside the burning home. They were both in critical condition and died four days later. The young girl who is now a suspect, was also inside the home at the time of the fire, but managed to make it out alive.
