ELGIN, SC (WIS) -

The man accused of kidnapping and killing Gabrielle Swainson is also a person of interest in the disappearance of a 28-year-old Florida woman in 2011.

Adriana Diana Laster was last seen with Freddie Grant on September 3, 2011 in Elgin. She was reported missing in March, 2012 by a family member in Homestead, Florida.

Following the revelation in 2012 that Grant may have been responsible for Gabbiee's disappearance, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said it may be more than a coincidence that another young female who looks similar to Gabbiee is missing.

She is described as a black female, standing 5'4", weighing 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

The FBI, Richland County Sheriff's Department, and Kershaw County Sheriff's Department are working with the Elgin Police Department and Florida authorities on the case.

Elgin Police Chief Harold Brown says Grant's alleged admission and the subsequent discovery of Gabbiee's body has given his department confirmation that Grant, "is capable of this type of violence." Brown has placed calls to the FBI, SLED and the solicitor's office regarding the Laster case.

When asked if authorities had questioned Grant recently about Laster, Lott said investigators are concentrating on the Gabbiee case at the moment.

Grant was charged with murdering Gabbiee after leading deputies on Thursday afternoon to a wooded area near Elgin where she was buried. He is in custody in the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. He has not been charged in connection with Laster's disappearance.

If you know anything about Laster's disappearance, you are urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
