SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

WTOC has learned new information about the arrest of a Guyton man on child molestation and exploitation charges.

More charges could be on the way against 19-year-old Brandon Fanning. Homeland Security gave the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in Effingham County a tip about the Guyton man and potential connections to child porn and other materials originating in Effingham County. They busted him for molesting and exploiting a child.

Additional charges are pending is all Effingham County Sheriff's Office spokesman David Ehsanipoor would say Thursday night. As of 11 p.m., more than 20,000 people have seen this story on our Facebook pages, WTOC and WTOC Don Logana, but what they didn't know is the extent of the crimes Fanning is accused of.

Detectives say he was not only having sex with an underage male, but he was Skyping and video taping the encounters and allegedly sending the material across state lines, explaining why the Department of Homeland Security is also involved.

Fanning now becomes the 20th person in the area, not only Effingham County, but Chatham and other counties, who has been arrested by the Effingham County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. They call this situation even more unique compared to previous cases because you have a grown man, 19-years-old, having sexual activities with a child, and sending out videos and possibly letting others watch over the internet.

"Some of the details we have seen on these videos we couldn't even try to explain on television. It's one of those disgusting situations and we wouldn't be able to believe anyone would try to do something like that," said Ehsanipoor.

Fanning was booked Thursday evening and will remain in the Effingham County jail. More charges are pending but deputies would not say what they were related to.

Fanning was in court on Friday and was denied bond. The investigation is ongoing.
