SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -

Investigators have charged two people after a meth lab was discovered at a home in Summerville.

The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office has charged Amy Burgio with manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine, and Peter Ward with possession of marijuana.

On Monday afternoon, deputies responded to a mobile home on 108 Marie Lane in reference to neighbors smelling a chemical odor coming from the home.

Authorities then arrived at the home and contacted the Metro Narcotics unit after detecting an odor around the home. Crews with the narcotics unit identified the smell as a strong ammonia odor which they say is associated with "One-Pot" methamphentamine labs.

As crews were evaluating the situation, the owner of the mobile home, Burgio, arrived at the scene and consented to a search of her home.

A report states crews seized two meth labs at the home, a "red phosphorus method" meth lab and a "One-Pot" meth lab.
