COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Columbia Police officers have arrested a burglary suspect after he fled during a traffic stop Thursday.

Officers pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of Gervais Street and Trenholm Road and arrested the driver, 42-year-old Jonathon Mobley. While Mobley was being questioned, police say 21-year-old Brandon Bolton, who was a passenger in the vehicle, ran away.

Police say Mobley and Bolton are expected to be charged with burglary and larceny.  They are accused of breaking into a home on Gervais Street and stealing electronics and cash.

Police say a tip from a citizen helped with the investigation.
