Coroner identifies man found dead in Turbeville motel

CLARENDON COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

The Clarendon County Coroner's Office has identified the man who was found riddled with bullet holes in a Turbeville hotel Wednesday morning.

According to the coroner, 58-year-old Willie Oliver was shot dead in a motel room at the Feather Bed Motel around midnight.

A motel worker discovered the body around 9:30 a.m.

Deputies from the Marion and Florence County Sheriff's Offices arrested 48-year-old Sharron Marie Rogers and charged her with Oliver's death later that day.

The Clarendon County Sheriff's Office is assisting the Turbeville Police Department with the investigation.
