One person has been arrested in connection with the "brutal" brawl filmed at Gonzalez Gardens and uploaded to YouTube, according to Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott.

Lott says Crimestoppers tips helped them locate and arrest 23-year-old Teshambra Kelly and charge her with two counts of assault and battery.

Those tips have also helped investigators come up with the four others that they believe were involved in the melee: 46-year-old Sonia Jacobs, 17-year-old Melquana Singletary, and two juveniles.

Investigators say two female victims, aged 14 and 16, were "brutally" beaten by several suspects in the incident that was caught on a cell phone camera. Lott says the fight stemmed from an issue between the victims and many of the suspects.

Lott also added that the 14-year-old victim was 8 1/2 weeks pregnant at the time of the beating. The girl and her child are expected to be okay.

A Richland County Sheriff's Department school resource officer was alerted to the fight by students at Keenan High School.
