YORK COUNTY, SC (WBTV) -

Investigators in York County have arrested two men they say were trafficking marijuana from Miami.

The incident was reported at 1:01 p.m. on Tuesday along Interstate 77 near the Porter Road exit, according to a news release from the York County Drug Enforcement Highway Interdiction Unit.

Agents stopped the 2011 Jeep Liberty for following too closely.

The vehicle had a Florida license plate.

Two Cuban males both in their 40s were in the vehicle.

The men said they were traveling from Miami to Pennsylvania.

The vehicle had a Baby on Board sign in the back window and had children toys in the rear storage area.

Further investigation revealed 36.5 pound bags of high grade marijuana hidden in the door panels, headliner and inside the spare tire.
