ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office says a second suspect wanted for a home invasion and shooting in Orangeburg last week has been captured in Rock Hill.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said US Marshals arrested 25-year-old Damon Jamar Moody, of Marion, on Monday.  He was wanted in connection with a home invasion which happened on Faglier Circle around 1:15 a.m. last Friday.

Ravenell said investigators believe Moody and Zyrale Jeter knocked on the victim’s door before forcing their way inside with weapons. Ravenell said a male victim was shot in the leg and a female victim was shot in the back.

Jeter was arrested on Friday and denied bond.

Moody is charged with two counts of attempted murder and first-degree burglary.
