CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner confirms his office will be going to the scene where three missing woman were found alive, but not to look for bodies.

The Medical Examiner's Office has been requested for photographs of the crime scene with a special camera. Dr. Thomas Gilson tells 19 Action News that his office has a camera that captures a "spherical image" of a room. He says the camera rotates 360 degrees and is helpful in reconstructing crime scenes.

The scene is on Seymour Avenue where Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were found alive last week after police say they'd been held captive with locks and chains for years.

The Medical Examiner's Office also played a key role with photography documenting the crime scene at the home of serial killer Anthony Sowell in 2009.
