CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Charleston police say they removed nearly two dozen marijuana plants from a community garden in downtown Charleston after receiving a complaint.

According to an incident report, officers were called out to a small garden near 105 Logan Street on Monday around 4 p.m.

Police say they discovered what appeared to be about 20 marijuana plants in the community garden. The plants ranged in size from 3 to 8 inches.

The report states all of the plants were pulled up after it was confirmed that the plants were in fact marijuana.
