Columbia rapper 'Pimp Stick Quezzy' pleads guilty to running prostitution ring

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS/WCSC) - A 30-year-old Columbia man pleaded guilty in federal court to running a prostitution ring that transported women from South Carolina to other states.

United States Attorney Bill Nettles said George McLeod III, aka "Pimp Stick Quezzy," pleaded guilty on Wednesday to interstate transportation for the purpose of prostitution.

Authorities say McLeod posted women on an internet website and traveled to hotels and strip clubs in South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida. According to court officials, the women engaged in acts of prostitution at the locations and gave the income to McLeod.

Evidence presented at a change of plea hearing established that McLeod also arranged to have a fake ID made for one of the women so that she could work at a strip club.

McLeod has recorded rap songs under the name "Pimp Stick Queezy" At least one song posted on YouTube refers to pimping.

Nettles said McLeod could receive a fine of $250,000 and/or imprisonment for 12 years.
