LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

People in a Lexington neighborhood were surprised when a romantic hot-air balloon ride ended in the middle of their street Friday evening.

Nobody was injured when the pilot landed the balloon in the middle of Weatherstone Road in Lexington.

Amanda Sells sent photos of the landing to WIS. She said the couple in the balloon had just gotten married.

The pilot said he was attempting to land the balloon in a nearby field, but the wind blew it into the neighborhood, where he was forced to land in the middle of the street to avoid some trees.
