Winning a national championship at any level isn't easy. The Darton women's basketball team opened up its national championship run against Blinn College Tuesday and found out just how tough it is to win one.
The 8th seeded Lady Cavs was knocked off by the 9th seeded Blinn College 79-72. Jasmine Wilson had a team high 19, Michelle Mitchell had 18 in a losing effort. Blinn had only three losses coming into the game. All three losses came to Trinity Valley who is the number one overall seed in the tournament.
Darton's historic season comes to an end with a 30-4 record. The best in school history.
