COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Two more men have been arrested in connection with a sports betting operation masterminded by Brett Parker, the man accused in a double murder at Ascot Estates.

Richland County deputies arrested 50-year-old Edward Maracich and 32-year-old Damon K. Johnson.

That brings the total number of arrests in connection with the bookie case to 14. Last week, 12 people were arrested on gambling charges.

Parker is charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of his wife, Tammy Parker, and Bryan Capnerhurst.

The two were shot and killed on April 13 inside Parker's home on Tackeria Court.

Parker would eventually turn himself in to face the charges. Investigators believe Capnerhurst was part of the gambling operation Parker admitted to running.

The penalty upon conviction calls for a 30-day jail sentence or a fine set in Richland County at $262.50.
