COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
The University of South Carolina women's basketball team is headed to Boulder, Colorado to face South Dakota State in the first round of the Women's NCAA Tournament.
Fans and Gamecocks head coach Dawn Staley celebrated their invitation at Colonial Life Arena Monday night.
It's the second invitation to the big dance since Staley began coaching in Columbia in 2008.
Last year, Staley's team made it all the way to the Sweet 16 in the tournament before being eliminated by the Stanford Cardinal.
The fourth-seeded Gamecocks will tip off against South Dakota on march 23 and 4 p.m.
