COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Columbia Police have arrested a suspect in connection with an assault case that happened just outside a Five Points bar last month.

Police arrested 20-year-old Donnell Rashied Burney on Monday and charged him with second degree assault by a mob.

Investigators say Burney and two other unknown suspects were involved in a brawl in front of The Library Bar around 2 a.m. on Feb. 16.

Police say Burney struck and kicked the victim in the face, causing him to lose consciousness and suffer from a broken jaw.

Burney was transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. No word on a scheduled bond hearing.

Police are still looking for the two remaining suspects in this case. If you have any information, call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
