Man, 19, killed in crash with ambulance

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving an ambulance this morning.

The accident happened on Edmund Highway in Lexington County just after 1 a.m.

Troopers say a 1984 GMC truck crossed into the eastbound lane and struck the emergency vehicle on the right side.

Investigators say 19-year-old Jack D. Branham, III, of Lexington was pronounced dead at the scene.

The collision remains under investigation.
