A Pennsylvania man arrested over the weekend is accused of exposing himself to a wedding party at a downtown hotel.

Charleston Police Department investigators charged 20-year-old Samuel James Dengel of Chalfont, Pa. with indecent exposure.

Police officers responded to the Double Tree hotel on 181 Church St. in regards to an indecent exposure incident Saturday night .

The mother of the bride told officers that she saw a man, later identified as Dengel, in a window at a hotel room over looking the courtyard where the wedding party was located.

The victim said Dengel was completely naked and exposing his genitals. According to the victim, Dengel then turned around and exposed his buttocks.

Members of the wedding party told investigators they saw Dengel at the hotel window fully clothed and waving at them before he came back completely naked.

A police report states that when officers went to Dengel's hotel room, Dengel answered the door only wearing a towel around his waist.

Officers also noticed a large script tattoo which members of the wedding party had seen on the suspect.

After Dengel was allowed to put clothes, members of the wedding party identified him as the man who exposed himself.

Dengel was charged with indecent exposure.  He was granted a $10,000 bond on Sunday.
