COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Columbia Police and SLED have released a composite sketch of a man they say broke into a home on South Bull Street and brandished a knife in front of an 11-year-old.

Police say the man entered the home shortly after 5 p.m. on Wednesday through a back door and approached the child who was sitting on the couch.

When the child saw the suspect, officials say the child ran into another part of the home and alerted a parent, who alerted police.

The suspect is described as a male possibly between the ages of 20 and 30, about 6" tall, and weighing 160 pounds. Police say he also has a light moustache and shoulder-length dreadlocks.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, khaki pants, and a skull cap.
