Police: Robber tells woman 'You're dead'

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Police in Myrtle Beach are looking for two armed robbery suspects that they say threatened a woman's life.

The two men approached a woman in the parking lot of the Bagel Factory on North Kings Highway around 2:50 a.m. Friday. The woman claims in the Myrtle Beach Police incident report that she had just arrived to start her shift when the man opened the door to her car, demanding money and trying to grab her purse from the passenger seat.

The woman claims she kicked one of the men trying to force him off of her, and that's when the man shouted, "You're dead [expletive]." But she continued to kick, then grabbed the firearm out of her glove box and pointed it at him.

The report states the thin white male ran away at the sight of the gun.

She described him to be average height with a moustache, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a black hat and a possibly grey bandana on his face.

The victim didn't get a good look at the other man. Officers responding to the scene found a knife that fell into the victim's car, but she says it wasn't hers and she never saw the suspects point it at her. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Myrtle Beach Police as soon as possible.
