SAN FRANCISCO, CA -
They say hard work and persistence pays off and former Monroe football star Ricardo Lockette knows that to be all too true.
The Albany native has announced he's signed a new two year deal to stay with the NFC Champion 49ers. Lockette was signed to the San Francisco practice squad last September after being released by the Seattle Seahawks.
The undrafted speedster out of Fort Valley St. scored his first NFL touchdown as a member of the Seahawks last season.
